Publishing Web Pages

After creating your web pages you can publish them using your FTP (File Transfer Protocol) program. Before starting make sure you have your username and password. Launch your FTP program and connect to www.yourdomain where yourdomain is the name of your domain.

If you are a site administrator after establishing a connection you will be in the directory /users/<username>. To publish files for your domain's web site you will have to go to the directory /web. In other words you will have to cd ../../web.

Only site administrators are given permission to update files in a domain's web site.

To publish files for your personal web page you will have to go to the directory /users/<username>/web.

If you are not a site administrator after establishing a connection you will be in your personal directory. You can update your personal web page by going into directory web.
